A jubilee evokes life giving memories. It is a time to rejoice. It is a time to look back with gratitude to the Lord and to look ahead with enthusiasm, trust and confidence. As we review the history of 50 years, we have enough reason to thank god for all the blessings Prabhat Tara School, Muzaffarpur has received. Truly, much has been achieved. But much more remains to be done. Our pioneers have given us the example. We need only to carry out the good work they began with dedication and commitment. On this significant occasion of our Golden Jubilee, my heart is filled with thanks giving to all our sisters and Collaborators, who over the years have labored with love for our students and for the people around. May the good God abundantly strengthen and support us in the years ahead.

It is a memorable point of time that Prabhat Tara School is celebrating its Golden Jubilee, the year of the Lord 2000. I feel proud that I had the privilege to associate with the school in its infancy for more than twelve years. It was a humble beginning when the school was run in two dilapidated buildings with about 300 students too much to accommodate. Today the school shines in the firmament of Muzaffarpur skies as the best Institution in the city. I thank God for all the blessings he has bestowed on the people of india as a whole and Muzaffarpur in particular through this institution. May the school be ever be illumined and guided by the MORNING STAR for all the years to come.

As I look thorugh the pages of the history of prabhat Tara school I can recall the days which I spent with Sr.Elenora. She was a dynamic person. Under her skillful planning and work, the school made rapid progress she remoulded the existing buildings and laid the foundations stone for the new buildings. I admire Sr. Elenaro’s aestheticism which brought forth the beautiful campus of prabhat Tara today. Thousands of girls & boys have passed through its portals. I wish you dear sister’s staff and students much joy and grace for the jubilee year. I also pray for you that in future your courage and trust in God may help you in helping the school for its further development and adjustment to the changing times. GOD BLESS YOU!!

On the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of Prabhat Tara School. I send special greeting form the Motherhouse. From the small beginning fo Sr. sigid, Sr. Relindis and seventy children in three small rooms, you have grown to a thriving school of nearly 2500 students in three spacious buildings. Working along with the parents of the children, you are meeting a continuing need of the times for quality education. A special thank you to all of the Sisters, lay teachers and workers who have served there in the school these past 50 years. As you celebrate the past. I wish you strength and joy to continue your beautiful important but also difficult mission. It remains today as well as yesterday an answer to “the need of the time”. Doing so you actualize the charism of our dear Founders. Father Cheodosius and blessed Mother Mary Theresa. In your effort to help the children and the youth to become the adult women and men of tomorrow, many God bless you. Sharing your joy.

I am indeed happy to know that Prabhat Tara School is going to complete 50 years of its service. I extend my hearty congratulations and jubilee greetings on this beautiful occasion. As I look back to the years I was at Prabhat Tara I can recall the ups and downs and difficulties with which this school began. It was sometimes very hard God had his plans. I consider the growth of the institution as a blessing of the Lord. How grateful I am to you my sisters, for your hard and faithful work. May the Lord Shower his abundant blessings on you and guide you in all your endeavours. I am sending to all of you, my love and prayers and wish you many more years of fruitful service.
